21st April - Now that the Gamejam is over (I placed 136th XD), I have attempted to take on board everything that was criticised and the new version I have uploaded should make things easier.
Black arrows - upcoming turns/direction.
White arrows - You can turn/go.

You can play this and the others in the browser, no need to download. I can't give you permission given some of the assets aren't mine. Thankies.

Controls (on computer) -
Movement - WASD/ Arrow keys
A = Enter
B = Shift

--------------------

A rapture of sorts came without warning. People disappeared. You were but a simple blind person trying out a new technology at the time: the Spechos. "Specs that show the world through echolocation using the sound of your walking or movement wind."
In your travels to find your family, you have stumbled upon ruins of a maze of an old Rite Of Passage.
Your Spechos show that every step bounces off the walls revealing your next segment of path, and you find you can only go in one direction as a sense of danger prevents you from retracing your steps. Arrows dictate which way you can go regardless of compass direction, you need only decide which upon two choices.

Addendum: Your Spechos do not follow tradition. They may unintentionally lie. Ignore these unusable arrows.

The white between scenes is supposed to be the sound of the next step that the glasses use to take a snapshot of the environment at its brightest frame so it makes sense lorewise, but not for the seeing it blinds I suppose XD
Sorry, I'll change it once the rating's done and I'm allowed to update it!

You may ask me if you need help.
I have also made sure it goes fullscreen and bigger, apologies, I thought I had already set this. Should also be mobile friendly like all the others too.

I like the minimalist style of this.  I am not a huge fan of the flash of white every time I move... that is kind of painful to be honest.

I can change it to a fade-to-black when I'm allowed to edit, that's fine. Sorry. I wasn't sure which was better when it was movement and not indicating death or an out-of-gameplay transition haha.

I think fades and flashes like this tend to imply a transition of some sort has taken place, so it felt like I was teleporting.  I think black would be better, but having an instant change would work fine.

(+1)

It's set at the fastest scene-change speed it'll go, so that's as instant as it is. Noted to change it to black though, might be waiting until the end of the month.

Ah I did not consider engine limitations! :)  Sorry for pestering.

It's fine! At least the fade colour is something I can change!
